GED and Adult High School Diploma
Clackamas Community College offers you several ways to complete your GED or high school diploma and build skills in reading and math to help you meet your work, education and personal goals. With hands-on help and supportive staff at CCC, you can do this!
To participate in any of the classes, you must be at least 16 years old. Individuals who are 16-18 years of age may be admitted, with either a documented release from compulsory attendance or a direct referral from the high school. Usually your high school counselor can help with this.
We invite all GED and Adult High School Diploma graduates to participate in the formal cap and gown commencement ceremonies at CCC held at the end of spring term in June. It's a great way to celebrate your accomplishments!

Get a jumpstart on completing your GED!
We offer a special JumpStart course to help students earn their GED. The three- to five-week course is an introduction where skills are assessed, whole group and one-on-one instruction is provided, and students are connected to resources within the college and the community. The course focuses on quick completion of the GED and targeted skill building, as well as an exploration of college and career opportunities.
When students finish JumpStart, they are placed into the most appropriate class depending on their skills. Those who complete the GED test while at CCC will continue to be supported as they work to continue their education or work-related goals.
JumpStart is offered at the Oregon City campus and the Harmony campus in Milwaukie. For more information, call 503-594-3027.
