Tutoring Services at CCC
Clackamas Community College offers a welcoming environment for students to get the academic support they need through tutoring, academic services and access to a computer lab. We have several open and friendly spaces that inspire people to engage in lifelong learning. Welcome!
Summer Term 2024
Dye Learning Center
- Academic computer lab open:
- Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Streeter Hall
- Streeter Quiet Computer Lab is closed for summer. It will re-open for fall term.
- Located in room S137. Several dedicated computers with web cameras, headsets and loaded with Zoom. Quiet space to work on a computer.
STEM Center
- A dedicated space for peer study groups, student hours hosted by faculty from a range of STEM disciplines, STEM Club meetings and open community activities. Located in Pauling 165.

Harmony West
- Study spaces and tutoring on the third floor of Harmony West
Tutoring Services
Drop-in or scheduled math tutoring is available online or in the Dye Learning Center on the Oregon City campus. Students can obtain one-on-one help for their math homework and preparation for exams. Help is available for most math classes taught on campus. For more information or to book an appointment, view the schedule in WCOnline. Use the "limit to" filter to find tutors for specific classes.

Math labs are closed during CCC holidays and campus closures. We close early during final week on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and re-open at the beginning of next term.

You can also find chemistry help in the CT Lab (Chemistry Tutorial Lab) in DeJardin Hall 243.

The Writing Center offers tutoring services to students at all stages of the writing process. Students may bring in assignments from any college class, professional writing tasks, creative writing, resumes, cover letters and scholarship applications.
Both appointment and drop-in times are available. The Writing Center is located in the Dye Learning Center.

Academic Computing Lab is closed during CCC holidays and campus closures.
Accounting tutoring is available in the Academic Computing Lab in the Learning Center. Students can get help with their homework, prepare for exams or get help navigating MyAccountingLab. CCC provides individual and small-group tutoring in many subjects. Tutors are available by request, with some drop-in tutoring and some by appointment.
To request subject area tutoring, call 503-594-3070, email the tutoring coordinator Josh Aman at tutoring@clackamas.edu or contact your instructor for additional resources specific to your field of study.
Students can also access free online tutoring up to seven hours each term through Smarthinking.
Brainfuse is offered to current Clackamas Community College students as a supplementary tutoring resource for subjects not currently offered through the Dye Learning Center. Students can access up to seven hours of free Brainfuse tutoring per term.
Subjects covered by Brainfuse include: accounting, economics, statistics, intro to human anatomy, physiology, Adobe, coding, HTML, C++ and more!
Writing, math and science tutoring are also available online through Brainfuse to CCC students or during times when the Dye Learning Center is not available.

Northstar Digital Literacy is a website where you can test your computer skills and learn new skills at your own pace by completing online tutorials. Northstar is free and anyone can use this tool - students, staff and community members. Also see our Northstar Promotional Flyer. More in-person free computer classes are offered through one of several local Goodwill Career Centers.
